Enterprise Performance Management is about understanding how well the health system is performing related to budgeting, planning and financial forecasting.
AIMS provides the ability to create detailed workforce budgets based on master rotations used for staff scheduling, which offers greater detail for better reporting and analysis. In addition, the budget and forecasting tools are all centrally located for easy access.
Health care organizations across the country also have reporting requirements to the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI). The goal of the CIHI is to use this information to evaluate and improve health system performance and population health across Canada. AIMS will enhance our provincial reporting capabilities by being able to pull information directly from budget, actuals and provide important statistical reports.
